As an Interior Designer with more than thirty years of experience, Sonia Sanz's work has been recognized and published in the local media. She's been an active member for the Board of Directors of the Colegio de Decoradores y Diseñadores de Puerto Rico (CODDI). She Presided the Puerto Rico chapter of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) . Her work has been characterized for the use of natural materials in combination with contemporary lines, creating her own style, which is the inspiration for Sanz the Shop, the store she founded in 1995.
